Biography
I have been a realtor for the past ten years and currently divide my time between Edmonton and Miami. I am licensed in Alberta and work with Edmonton Real Estate Group and also am a broker licensed in Florida where I work with Duffy Realty. (You can find a link to Florida properties on this site as well as search the MLS for homes anywhere in Canada . . . . but particularly in the Edmonton area.)
I have lived in Edmonton since 1972 and have owned real estate . . . both as investment property and property to raise a family in a variety of areas - from Garneau to Riverbend to North Glenora to Grandview to Avonmore . After acquiring a Doctorate and teaching and administering in colleges and Universities (including the U of A, Northwestern University and the University of Florida), I chose to retire from academia and work in real estate, first as an investor and now as an agent for friends and clients. Many of my clients are artists and musicians (I performed with the Edmonton Symphony for over 20 years) as well as educators and are often searching for homes in areas close to where the "action" is . . . great restaurants, great schools, great shopping . . . in other words . . . great neighborhoods!! I love helping them find homes in these places.
I am always available in the Edmonton area . . . . my wife is a full time elementary school teacher, my 4 kids all live here as well as my new grandson . . . . so even when I leave for a few weeks to get away from the cold weather, I fly back to assist clients on a regular basis . . . and of course, I'm here during the spring, summer and fall full time.
